Tamaki Hosobuchi is an artist based in Yokohama, Japan working with the photographic medium. She implements photography as a metaphor of "viewing", exploring the manifold relationships intersecting society and art while transitioning across conceptions of photography, urban themes, and notions of art. Hosobuchi creates methods in reshaping the obscured incongruities of quotidian life into potentialities.
She graduated from Tama Art University majoring in graphic design and photography. Soon after graduation, she became a valuable member of the legendary PH Studio, a collective comprised of contemporary artists and architects. In 2004, Hosobuchi co-founded BankART1929, an urban arts space which was a game changer in Yokohama's contemporary art scene. She supervised plannings, productions and operations in the experimentation and repurposing of underused historic buildings for exhibitions, installations and residencies. Since 2015, Hosobuchi has gradually shifted her focus towards her own art practice. Her most recent project, "Genzou," is an intercultural photographic journal project that she co-founded in 2017.

細淵太麻紀（ほそぶちたまき）
「見る」ことのメタファーとして写真を使用し、「写真」「都市」「美術」の間を往来しながら、社会とアートの多様な関わりを模索する。日常の中に潜む違和感を可能性に変えることで、新しい視点と世界を提示していくことを目的として作品制作をおこなう。
多摩美術大学でグラフィックデザインを専攻、主に写真を学んだ後、PH スタジオにて美術と建築の分野で活動。ギャラリーや美術館での展示だけでなく、野外でのプロジェクト、コミッションワーク、建築設計などにも携わる。2004 年に横浜市の歴史的建造物を文化活動に活用するBankART1929 の立ち上げに関わり、以降企画運営全般にかかわり、多忙な日々を送る。並行して、2015年頃より徐々に自身の作品制作を再開し始める。2017 年より写真と文章を主軸とした出版プロジェクト「現像」を共同主宰。
